IEAC Softball Players of the Week April 15 - April 21

Player of the Week | San Bernardino Valley College 
Kaitlynn LaFleur | OF | Sophomore

Kaitlynn La Fleur had a standout week, batting 6 for 10 with 3 runs, 4 stolen bases, 1 RBI, a walk, and a double. In the game against Pasadena, she went 2 for 4 with a stolen base. Despite a rolled ankle from the previous day, she showed resilience in the opening day game against VVC, where she went 2 for 3 with a run and a stolen base. In the victory against VVC, La Fleur continued her strong performance, batting 2 for 3 with 2 runs, 1 RBI, a walk, a double, and 2 stolen bases. Currently, she's garnering attention from 11 schools for recruitment.

Additionally, La Fleur holds an impressive ranking, standing 30th in the state for stolen bases with 17 overall. In the conference, she's ranked 7th. Moreover, she boasts a place in the top 100 batting averages in the state.

Utash has demonstrated her hard work and commitment to this sport, and she continues to be a formidable player at the plate, capable of taking the lead at any moment. She has helped us win against other teams several times, and this weekend she managed to get ahead of everyone else in terms of overall runs batted in (RBIs).
