The Inland Empire Athletic Conference is proud to announce the 2019 December Athletes of the Month.
Freshman Harjinder Takher has been a standout for the Chaffey squad averaging 15.4 points per game which includes 8 double-doubles. In December, Takher has amassed over 100 points. "Jinder plays an aggressive game, attacking the basket and is a top rebounder for us," commented Head Coach Tasha Burnett. Takher is in the top five scorers in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference. Jinder is pursuing a psychology major at Chaffey College.
San Bernardino Valley College sophomore guard Nathan Pendarvis has been the most consistent player for the Wolverines. "Nathan is an athletic point guard with good size," states head coach Quincy Brewer. "He brings speed and athleticism to each game."
In December, Pendarvis has averaged 15.7 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists per game. San Bernardino Valley College is currently 3-2 in the conference with a 12-5 overall record.
