Men’s Cross Country
Jacob Mendiola a freshman from Cajon HS in San Bernardino. Placed 13th in 20:27.8 over 4 miles to lead his SBVC squad to second overall out of 27 scoring teams with 97 points at the So Cal Preview Meet at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. Jacob has now lead his Wolverine squad to two second place place team finishes this season, the first being at the Fresno Invitational at Woodward a park on September 1 the site of the CCCAA state meet course.

Women’s Water Polo
Liz is a freshman who has led the team both in and out of the water from the start. Outside the pool, she's a great teammate and friend to all of her colleagues, and is always willing to help make the team better in any way she can. Inside the pool, she is an extremely talented player who excels on both offense and defense and makes everyone around her play better.
She had a season- ending injury during her senior year of high school. She tore her labrum and was not able to finish her high school career as she would have liked. She has worked so hard to be able to come back from her injury, and now she's one of the best players in the conference.
Ramirez leads the SCC conference in goals (29 goals, averaging over 4 goals a game), she's also leading the team in steals (12), field blocks (4), and ejections drawn (15).
