The Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) is pleased to announce that Vinnie Quiroz, a sophomore runner from San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC), has been selected as the IEAC Athlete of the Month for September.
On September 20th, Quiroz placed third at the Golden West Invitational with a time of 20:49. Despite the challenges of the Line Fire, which disrupted training throughout the county, Quiroz, along with the entire team found ways to train. The Wolverines placed third with a total of 97 points—a mere one point behind Riverside City College for second place.
