The IEAC Baseball Athletes of the Week are sophomores Brendon Demuth of Barstow College and infielder Will Potter from Mt. San Jacinto College.
Demuth, a right handed pitcher from Cimmaron-Memorial High School pitched a complete game shutout, allowing 2 hits, 0 walks and striking out 14 on his way to an 11-0 victory over Victor Valley College. Demuth only needed 95 pitches to complete the game.
Potter, a 6'2 utility player from Temecula had a tremendous week going 4 of 7, batted with a .571 average, 1 double, 1 home run, 5 RBI's, 5 runs, 1 base on balls, and 1 stolen base.
