
The Inland Empire Athletic Conference has released the 2024-2025 All-Conference teams and individual award winners.
In the women's division, Cerro Coso's Shaniyah McCarthy was honored with the Most Valuable Player award. McCarthy averaged 19 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
Mt. San Jacinto College's Taylor Bell received the 2024-25 Coach of the Year award after leading the program to their seventh consecutive conference title. The No. 7 seeded Eagles will face the winner of the Grossmont College versus LA Trade Tech game. The game will be held at Mt. San Jacinto College on Saturday, March 1st, at 7:00 p.m.
In the men's division, Chaffey College guard Uriyah Rojas was named Conference MVP. Rojas averaged 25.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. San Bernardino Valley College's Darius Carr received the Offensive Player of the Year award, while teammate Jason Hilliard was honored with the Defensive Player of the Year award.
For the second year in a row, Jeff Klein of Chaffey College has been named Conference Coach of the Year. Adding to his coaching resume, Klein also celebrated his 500th career win at Chaffey. The No. 9 seeded Panthers will host No. 24 seed Irvine Valley College on Wednesday, February 26th, at 7:00 p.m.
