Hunter Lynch, Sophomore, SD City College
Lynch continues his dominant play in 2026. The number one singles player for San Diego City College recently defeated Imperial Valley’s Gilbert Cruz 6–0, 6–0 on Feb. 24 and Fresno City College’s Matthew McBride 6–1, 6–0 on Feb. 27.
Teaming up with his twin brother, Thomas Lynch, the pair was equally impressive in doubles. They defeated the Imperial Valley pairing of Cruz and Montecinos and the Fresno City team of McBride and Madding by identical 8–1 scores.
Lynch currently carries a a 5–1 singles record and a perfect 6–0 mark in doubles.
