Danielle Singley, Sophomore, Chaffey College
The Panthers’ captain etched her name into Chaffey Women’s Basketball history, helping lead the program to its first playoff appearance in ten years and earning a No. 15 seed with a home playoff game.
In the first round of the SoCal Regionals, Singley helped lead an exciting overtime comeback against No. 18 Rio Hondo College. After trailing by 14 in the third quarter, the Panthers rallied to win by seven, a 21-point swing. Singley finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals advancing the team into the second round, first time since 2014.
In round two of the playoffs, the Panthers fell to No. 2 Irvine Valley by 12. In her final game in Panthers uniform, Singley recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist.
She now transitions to the field as an outfielder for the Panthers softball team.
