On Sunday, the CCCAA released both the men’s and women’s basketball regional brackets. Games will begin on Tuesday, March 1 with games being hosted by the higher seed.
Six teams will be representing the Inland Empire Athletic Conference.
Victor Valley College and Mt. San Jacinto College women’s basketball will both play their first round on Tuesday, March 1.
On the men’s side, Mt. San Jacinto College, Cerro Coso College, and Copper Mountain College will begin play on Tuesday, March 1. Conference champion San Bernardino Valley College receives a first-round bye and will await for the winner of the Palomar College vs. Cypress College game. San Bernardino Valley College begins play on Thursday, March 3.
WOMEN’S
#17 seed Victor Valley College (20-7) will travel to #16 Allan Hancock College (17-11) on Tuesday, March 1.
#14 seed Mt. San Jacinto College (21-5) will host #19 Southwestern College (22-6) on Tuesday, March 1.
MEN’S
#17 Mt. San Jacinto College (18-10) will travel to #16 Mt. San Antonio College (18-7) on Tuesday, March 1.
#21 Mira Costa College (14-14) will travel to #12 seed Cerro Coso College (22-6) on Tuesday, March 1.
#22 Copper Mountain College (16-12) will travel to take on #11 LA Southwest College (19-9) on Tuesday, March 1.
#3 seed San Bernardino Valley College (23-5) receives a first-round bye and will play on Thursday, March 3. They await the winner between #14 Palomar College (18-10) and #19 Cypress College (16-12).
