Norco College Men's Soccer Team Clinches Historic Conference Championship

In a historic moment that marries athletic prowess with academic achievement, the Norco College Men's Soccer Team secured their first-ever Conference Championship, etching their names in both sports and scholarly history. Under the leadership of Head Coach Drew Rea and Assistant Coaches Ernie Parra, Oscar Gaytan, and Jeff Redinger (GK Coaching), this victory symbolizes a remarkable journey where players have excelled on and off the field, embodying the true spirit of the student-athlete. 

The path to the championship was characterized by camaraderie and dedication, exemplified by the 15 celebrated sophomores at the start of the game. These young athletes have served as the team's foundation, showcasing leadership, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to excellence throughout their time at Norco College.

In a nail-biting match against San Bernardino Valley College, the Norco College Men's Soccer Team secured a 2-1 victory. The game was a true test of the athletes' determination and perseverance, as they fought relentlessly for the full 90 minutes. Their execution on the field was nothing short of exceptional and has set a new standard in the history of the program.

The scoring for this monumental victory was led by Dominic Kienzle (Sophomore, #7), who found the back of the net in the twentieth minute with a stunning goal, assisted by Dakotah Medina (Freshmen, #12) and Vinicius Goncalves (Freshmen, #16). The second crucial goal came in the sixty-second minute, a beautiful strike by Carlos Zuniga (Sophomore, #21), assisted by Dominic Kienzle, securing the win.

This Inland Empire Athletic Conference Championship win marks a historic achievement for the Norco College Men's Soccer Team. The entire Mustang community joins in celebrating this achievement and looks forward to the bright future of our men's soccer program
