Crafton Hills College continues to grow young program

The Crafton Hills College men’s and women’s swim team are currently looking for athletes to join their program for the 2021 campaign.

Led by Courtney Eads, who enters her fifth season as head coach, is inviting students to visit the Crafton Hills athletics website and fill out the questionnaire. “We have been really consistent in growing our roster,” states Eads. “We are looking for anyone with any swimming experience to reach out. Even if you don’t have a lot of experience, please introduce yourself.”

Eads earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada-Reno and received her masters from Concordia University. While competing for the Wolfpack, Eads was named both the Western Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year and Most Valuable Player in 2009. In addition to her collegiate success, Eads also competed at the US Olympic Trials in 2004 and 2008.

“We want to continue growing our program,” adds Eads. “We have champions on both teams. We've competed well at the Waterman Pentathlon held at Palomar College, and we were having a great year prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. We’ve had some respectable individual and relay performances. We do need to increase our roster as we’ve done so every year. Our facilities are top notch and our coaching staff is well qualified.”

Students interested in learning more about the program are encouraged to visit  craftonhills.edu/athletics/index.php

Please fill out the questionnaire.
