Coaches Page and Bingham to Takeover Double Duty

Coaches Page and Bingham to Takeover Double Duty

MSJC men's tennis coach Cory Page and women's golf coach Ron Bingham have each agreed to take over both Eagle programs in their respective sports for the 2020-21 academic year.

Page, who was in the midst of his first year as the MSJC men's tennis coach when Covid-19 ended the team's season early, will be the new women's coach for the 2021 season coming next Spring.  Page had the men's team off to one of their best starts in recent years as they were 8-4 when their 2020 campaign came to an abrupt halt.  Page has a wealth of experience in a number of sports both at the high school and community college level.  He has had success not only as a tennis coach but also with golf and football.  Page will oversee both tennis programs beginning immediately.

Bingham has been the women's golf coach since 2016 and will continue in that role while also coaching the men's team for the Spring 2021 season.  Bingham, guided the Eagle women's team this past season to a 4th place finish in the Orange Empire Athletic Conference Tournament and has seen steady improvement in the women's program over the past three years.

Bingham replaces Pete Martinez who led the Eagle men's golf program for the past eight seasons.
