Women's Volleyball

Manaia has been a staple for SBVC all year long. On Wednesday 10/4 Mamea had 15 kills vs. Victor Valley College and 15 digs. On Friday she had 20 kills , hit .410 and 21 Digs vs Mt. San Jacinto College. Mamea has had double digit kills in 11 of the 15 matches this season and is leading the Inland Empire Athletic Association in K/S 3.80 and Kills 205, second in hitting %, .274

Men's Cross Country

Quiroz, a freshman from Cajon High School (San Bernardino) led the states 4th ranked team to its second consecutive Chaffey College Invitational team title on Saturday, October 7 by placing second overall. The Wolverines totaled 22 points to easily out distance runner up El Camino which scored 44. Quiroz clocked 21:50 over the challenging four mile course after leading for the first three miles. His efforts helped pace his teammates to finish with six runners in the top ten. Quiroz has been one of the top runners all season on a team that is back in the hunt for a podium finish at the state championships on November 18
