Introducing the IEAC Sotball Athletes of the Week for April 25 - May 1, 2022

Annabelle Amador | COD
Amador went 3 - 6 for the week, all 3 hits came in her sophomore night game vs San Jacinto where she batted in clean-up spot for the 1st time this season. She had 3RBI’s, scored 1 Run, and had 3 putouts. She also had the final hit of the game on sophomore night giving COD the mercy 8 run rule victory. The 3 hits elevated her to 4th on the team in total hits for the season with 32 & 4th on the team with a .288 season Batting Avg.

Levi Luna | SBVC
Levi Luna, the recent Midwestern State University Commit had a fantastic week was 2 for 3 with 4 RBIs, a BB, a double, and a grand slam against the conference champions Barstow. Luna was named to first-team all-conference. This sophomore transfer was a great addition to San Bernardino Valley College ending her season tying the overall season record for home runs at 6, 2nd highest in school history in doubles at 13, 5th highest in school history in RBIs with 31, 3rd highest in school history in runs at 33, and 3rd highest slugging in school history at .628.  Levi was 21st in the state for home runs and 34th in the state for assists.
