IEAC Student-Athletes of the Week 4/10 - 4/16

LORISSA AVILA | CHAFFEY COLLEGE
Softball
Lorissa Avila was 5-9 at the plate with a walk; three runs scored, 5 doubles and 8 RBI. After not getting in the lineup frequently, Lorissa has lately been very consistent and now has a .422 OBP.  She is now 7th all-time in Chaffey softball history with 45 RBI as well as 29 extra-base hits.

MARISA MARQUEZ | CHAFFEY COLLEGE
Softball
Marisa Marquez was 7-13 on the week with 7 runs scored, three doubles, a home run and four RBI. Marisa is batting .440 on the season with 28 runs scored, 27 RBI and 18 extra-base hits along with 15 walks for a .519 OBP.

TARA WALKER | SBVC
Softball

Tara Walker (SBVC, #4, SS, Fr) was 5 for 9 for the week with 2 stolen bases, 2 doubles, a triple, a sac, 6 runs, 4 RBI, and turned a double play. Against Orange Coast College she was 1 for 2 with a run, a double, a stolen base, a sac, an RBI, and a walk. In the victory against Cerro Coso in the first game Walker was 4 for 4 with 3 runs, 3 RBI, a double, and a triple. In the second victory against Cerro, Coso Walker had 2 stolen bases, 2 runs, a walk, and turned a double play. Currently ranked 64th in the state for stolen bases. 

MONIQUE DAVILA | SBVC
Softball

Monique (Tinka) Davila (SBVC, #2, 2B, So) was 4 for 9 for the week with 3 walks, 5 runs, 2 RBI, a homerun, and turned two double plays for the week. Monique was 3 for 4 against Orange Coast College with a home run, 3 runs, 1 RBI, and turned a double play. In the first victory against Cerro Coso, she was 1 for 3 with 2 runs, an RBI, and a walk. In the second victory against Cerro Coso, Monique was 1 for 2 with two walks and turned a double play. Davila is currently 8th in the state for walks.
