VICTORVILLE - The Rams are ready for their run.
Victor Valley will play on Nov. 2 to kick off the season against Orange Coast at 7 p.m. The men's team open up on Nov. 1 and the women's team plays the next night. The squad hopes to build off a great fall of practice. Coach Troy Hall likes what he has seen in preparation and the way the team has come together.
"We put family first and we want to build off that," he said. "We believe defense is the key for us playing as one. Our style of play is we work hard. We will be a competitive team that has built off the last two years of success."
The Rams will play an exciting brand of basketball that will test the oposition every night.
Key returners are Valentine Limon and Veronica Perez. Other players Hall expects to contribute are NayNay Watkins, Tyreshia Sessions and Jordan Brooks.
