LADY PANTHERS CLAIM IEAC CONFERENCE TITLE

The Panthers shutout Mt San Jacinto Friday 7-0 to claim the inaugural Inland Empire Athletics Conference Championship.  "It's a great feeling knowing we got the conference title! Coming off of being conference champs in the South Coast Conference; it's a huge statement to be back-to-back champs and the first ever in the IEAC! I'm very proud of our team and the determination it took to get the result we wanted," said Head Coach Grace Cooper.

The Panthers were led Friday by freshman Jaiden Suchanek and sophomore Athena Contreras with two goals each.  The ladies had a 2-0 lead at the half but a succession of five goals in 30 minutes of the second half put the game solidly out of reach of the Eagles.  "It was a great team win and a positive moving into playoffs."  This is Coach Cooper's third conference championship team.

The ladies will begin CCCAA playoffs Saturday, November 23rd.  The Southern California bracket is expected to be released tomorrow afternoon.
