Despite the recent COVID crisis, Cecilia White (setter, Alta Loma HS) was able to celebrate with her family the signing of her National Letter of Intent to play women's volleyball at Cal State Dominguez Hills.  White is a two-time Chaffey scholar-athlete and was named to the all-conference honor team both of her years with the Panthers.  During her Chaffey career, she had over 1,700 assists and was ranked #2 in the states for assists/set.  She was twice named CCCWVCA State Player of the Week.  White led the Panthers her two seasons at Chaffey including to the college's first IEAC Championship (2019).  In her two seasons, White led the offense to a .230 hitting percentage on the season and a 21-4 overall record.
