The Chaffey College women’s cross country team wanted to make a statement in the conference and did just that by capturing the 2022 title in convincing fashion. Led by sophomore Brianna King, six Panthers finished in the top 10, giving Chaffey College a score of 15 against 46 points by San Bernardino Valley College. This is Chaffey’s second conference championship since being reinstated in 2015. 

Brianna King sat atop the individual leaderboard finishing first with a 19:05.8.  Andrea Baerenwald in 5th with 21:50.2. Muskaan Sandhu placed 6th with 22:00.8. Brianna Isidro finished in 8th with 22:13.5. Betania Madero-Meza turned in a 22:17.6 to place 9th. 

The team will travel to Kern County Soccer Complex in Bakersfield, CA on Friday, November 4 to compete in the 2022 Southern California Championships.
